Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer candidate to support the JS J7 Joint Training DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT).
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performed the installation, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and administration of the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) enterprise vulnerability scanning system
- Troubleshot credential failure issues by performing configuration analysis against the target device
- Analyze ACAS findings for determination of false positives, impact to customer system, identification of risk level adjustment, and provision of recommendations and tracking to closure
- Provided technical support to customers involving a wide range of software, hardware, and DoD specific applications with respect to the ACAS solution
Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
- Security+ CE
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
And
- Functional area certification (required prior to start date)
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, or related educational field and/or six years of relevant experience.
Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
